Newsletters

Newsletters and product updates, from the same platform as your app email

Keep your contacts, segments and campaigns next to your transactional email. Send from the dashboard, the API or your AI agent, and let unsubscribes take care of themselves.

  • 3,000 emails a month free
  • No credit card
  • Hosted in Finland
  • REST, SMTP and MCP

Contacts and segments

Typed contact properties, static lists and rule-based segments that update as your contacts change. Import over the API or collect them with a hosted signup form.

A/B tests that pick a winner

Test two to five subject or content variants on 5–50% of the segment. After the window you choose, the best open rate goes to everyone else.

Unsubscribe handled

Every broadcast carries RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers, so Gmail and Yahoo show their own button. Unsubscribes and hard bounces are suppressed automatically.

What you can send

A monthly newsletter
Write it once, schedule it for the hour your readers open mail, and watch opens, clicks and unsubscribes arrive per campaign.
Release notes
Segment by plan or signup date so a launch only reaches the customers it is for.
Re-engagement
Find contacts who have not opened in 60 days, send them one focused email, and stop mailing the ones who never answer — your sender reputation will thank you.
Onboarding sequences
A workflow sends, waits and branches per contact, so day one, day three and day seven go out on their own.

Schedule a broadcast

typescript
const broadcast = await poststack.broadcasts.create({
  name: 'October newsletter',
  segment_id: 'seg_active_customers',
  from: 'Acme <news@acme.com>',
  subject: 'What shipped in October',
  html: '<h1>Hi {{first_name}}</h1><p>Here is what is new…</p>',
  scheduled_at: '2026-10-28T09:00:00Z',
});

await poststack.broadcasts.send(broadcast.id);

Set it up in three steps

  1. 1

    Bring your contacts

    Create them over the API, import them, or embed a signup form that adds new subscribers for you.

  2. 2

    Build a segment

    Filter on contact properties or engagement — opened in the last 30 days, signed up this month — or keep a static list.

  3. 3

    Send or schedule

    Write the broadcast in the dashboard, preview it, and send now or at a time you pick.

Frequently asked questions

Is PostStack an email marketing tool?

It covers what most product teams send: contacts, segments, scheduled broadcasts, A/B tests, signup forms and workflows. It is built API-first, so the same contacts are available to your code, the dashboard and the MCP server.

Do I pay per contact?

No. Plans are priced by emails sent per month, not by the size of your list. 3,000 emails a month free, no credit card.

How do unsubscribes work?

An unsubscribe marks the contact unsubscribed and adds the address to your suppression list straight away. Subscription topics let people leave one kind of email without leaving all of them.

Can I send newsletters and transactional email from the same domain?

Yes, and both are signed with your domain’s DKIM key. Many teams use a subdomain such as news.example.com for broadcasts so a marketing complaint never touches the reputation of their password resets.
